-Order lots of extra Prescrition paper-- Far less repeat prescriptions are printed on the right side meaning reams of paper for every patient even when only printing a single drug
-"Problems" are only transfered if they were recorded in GPASS as a high prioritiy- (apparently) therefore you have to edit some of the previous entries
-Print as many recalls out and save them before the switch over as it'll be months before your system runs well
-Be prepared to spend a lot of time deleting future diary entries that clutter the pages
-When phoning EMIS get a name and direct number-you never speak to the same person twice
-Same applies for training- If possible same trainer (I've actually found all the trainers very good --the system is not though)_
Be prepared to change your consulting style- Even when up to speed with the system you tend to have very long pasues while waiting for the scripts to print and clicking on the boxes
