Thank you to those of you that attended the first SNUG into the Digital Future event held on Wednesday 25 September in Perth. It was fantastic to see SNUG members from around Scotland come together to discuss the issues facing GP Practices as we embark on a new decade. The group sessions were very interactive and I personally have taken a lot from comments, queries and concerns shared from our members. A set of actions have been created as a result from the event, and these shall be explored in further detail at the next Executive Meeting in November. Please find Guidance on the Event and the outline for the day below.
The results from discussions with themes on GPIT Re-provisioning, Information Governance and GDPR, Support for the new GMS Contract and more.
There is a lot of work ahead for SNUG and we shall ensure we cover these actions and use the information gathered to best support you through the next daunting years ahead. If you wish to share anything with SNUG and get involved we would love to hear from you. We welcome Practice Managers, Nurses as well as General Practitioners. All we need is an interest and enthusiasm for GP IT. I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for attending, your interest and support for SNUG and GP IT enables us to continue to speak on behalf of GP Practices in Scotland and campaign for future improvements. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any comments, questions or queries. Dont forget to Visit the SNUG Facebook page @ ScottishNationalUsersGroup
